Toddler-PreS-In this charming duo of board books, a bubbly baby explores the world around them. In the first book, Baby explores the park while having a picnic with Nonna. There's a repeated refrain while Baby chases after the animals, "Scrunch, push. Scrunch Scoot. I go to meet.." Toddlers will giggle again and again. In the second title, Baby is going to Nonna's house. By traveling in the stroller, on a bus, boat, and subway, the baby finally makes it for a sweet visit with her grandmother. Little ones will love beeping along with the bus and splashing with the boat as Baby goes back home to Papa. VERDICT Simple text and clear ink-and-pencil illustrations make these board books developmentally appropriate and winning choices for choral reading in storytime.
