While all the students at Super Hero High are getting ready for finals, a nefarious villain targets some of the most talented girls in the school and uses their weaknesses against them. In this all-ages graphic novel, we follow Supergirl, Wonder Woman, Batgirl, Katana, Bumblebee, Poison Ivy, and Harley Quinn as they disappear, one by one, and then work as a team to get out of trouble and back to school. The art style is cute and expressive, favoring clean colors and large eyes over hard outlines and photorealistic looks, and it reflects the same style in the animated clips of the series found online. This is a great read about bullies and being safe (Have a buddy system!), but it's also a good example of friends bringing each other up. At no point in the story do any of the characters put another person down to shine in the spotlight herself. Rather, they all bask in friendly competition and play to each others' strengths. Perfect for Lumberjanes fans.--Pino, Kristina Copyright 2016 Booklist
