Teen Titans Go! - A Complete Fan Guide

Magazine

The Titans Keep Going! We’re celebrating Cartoon Network’s Teen Titans Go! and looking back at the superhero group through the years. For more than 11 years, audiences have loved watching the Teen Titans Go! gang crash into the glass walls of their T-shaped tower or bust a move at a meatball party. They’ve bopped along to “Jolly Fat Man” and giggled with Batman on “TV Knights.” And more than 400 episodes in, Robin, Starfire, Raven, Cyborg and Beast Boy show no signs of slowing down in their ridiculous antics. Khary Payton, who plays Cyborg, noted that no matter how ludicrous the situations on the show, they remain relatable. “We can see ourselves in these characters, because we all feel a little different and a little specia...l in middle school and in high school and a bit like a misfit,” he told Screen Rant in 2019. “The Titans...are living the dream, they’re teenagers, but they’re off on their own, they’re living with their friends.”Of course, that’s been part of the appeal of the Teen Titans going back to their first appearance, when Robin joined fellow sidekicks Aqualad and Kid Flash in the 1964 comic book The Brave and the Bold #54. And whether it’s Marv Wolfman and George Pérez’s bestselling New Teen Titans run in the 1980s—which introduced Raven, Cyborg and Starfire—or the dark live-action show Titans on Max, they’ve always been one of the biggest teams in comics. In these pages, we’re celebrating what makes TTG! so great, exploring some of the other incarnations of the team, and giving you all the latest news. Plus, there are games and quizzes to entertain kids of all ages. Titans, go!
