In this gripping crime thriller, brothers Terry (Colin Farrell) and Ian (Ewan McGregor) are desperate to improve their troubled lives in contemporary London. Terry, a chronic gambler, is deep in debt, while Ian dreams of a better future with his new love, actress Angela Stark (Hayley Atwell). When their wealthy uncle Howard (Tom Wilkinson) offers financial help in exchange for a deadly favor, the brothers are thrust into a moral dilemma that tests their bond and leads to tragic consequences.
