Seinfeld (Vegan, at Times) continues her quest to share her passion for healthier options, this time through desserts with less sugar and alternatives for every dietary preference. Beginning with a comprehensive list of items to have on hand in pantries and refrigerators, the book sets up readers for culinary success. It's divided by dessert category, including cakes, cookies, pies, fruit, and more. Each easy-to-follow recipe identifies its particular focus (gluten-free, vegan, dairy-free), so cooks can choose just the right taste and the dietary need that is called for. Recipes such as strawberry Pop Tart with frosting illustrate how a vegan treat can be delicious. Seinfeld sprinkles helpful tips and explanations throughout the book, sharing her vast knowledge of the dangers of sugar and artificial ingredients in cooking and baking.
