The Fields of Immokalee

Streaming video - 2020

For decades, migrant workers have worked these fields, harvesting the produce that feeds the U.S. Many are undocumented and attempting to keep their jobs even as federal crackdowns hover over the town. THE FIELDS OF IMMOKALEE follows their daily lives, from the 5:00am trips to the parking lot in search of labor, to work in the scorching mid-day heat, to child detention centers for migrant youth. These vignettes offer insight into the people behind one of the most volatile political issues of our time.
