Review by Booklist Review

The Little People, Big Dreams series (4 new titles) reliably takes well-known figures and converts their stories to palatable picture-book biographies. The latest titles in the series move from sports to the spotlight, with cute illustrations that navigate the come-up of a batch of modern icons. Usain Bolt tracks one of the greatest sprinters in history and his journey to breaking world records. Though his early passion was cricket, he was convinced in high school to join the track team, and through committed training, garnered many wins in Olympic Games. Each work concludes with a time-line of photographs featuring great moments of each figure's life, as well as a more adult-oriented biographical paragraph. The series continues on its easy success of translating notable figures' experiences into digestible stories.
