Jack Dee returns once again to the screens as the hapless Rick Spleen. Despite professional and domestic crises, Rick manages to hold his head up high and retain his self-respect. Well, actually, no he doesn't - getting the worst score of all time on a much-loved radio panel show, and the disclosure of his real name on a show about family trees certainly does away with any remaining pride. Domestic chaos, social mishaps and professional disasters ensue as Rick continues to blunder his way through life.
