After losing her legs in a double amputation, Amy Purdy overcame the unexpected and returned to snowboarding. Today, Amy is a three-time Paralympic medalist snowboarder, a motivational speaker and a NY Times Best Selling author. Her work has been published in 10 different languages all around the world. She is a Co-Founder of Adaptive Action Sports alongside Daniel Gale. This organization helps create opportunities for individuals with physical disabilities to get involved in snowboarding, skateboarding and other action sports.
