How ironic that as the "woke" movement is sweeping America, we should have to really wake up our own country to the dangers is faces abroad. It is obviously China poses a mortal threat to the United States.   It has a monopoly of rare earth minerals that holds our environmental goals hostage.   With Hunter Biden's assistance, it has developed a means of global mind control and planted it in computers all around us.   China's spies are everywhere getting our trade secrets illegally while our own companies give them away legally by moving to China and selling our country out in the process.   China's agents have massively infiltrated our colleges and universities and profit handsomely from grants from our very own government.   Through some distorted logic, we cripple our own industries and businesses to make them follow environmental regulations from which we exempt China.   And, as if all this were not enough to wake us up, China is challenging our domination of space, our naval supremacy, and our entire national defense program. But China is not the real problem, not the real threat to our freedom.  The corruption of our own, elected leaders is the crux of our difficulties.  Our laws do not prevent them from using their families to take bribes and payoffs before, during, and after they serve us in public office. Stronger ethics laws embracing all the opportunities for theft that a big family offers are a partial answer.  But the real answer is to stop electing weak people who succumb to Chinese entreaties to office. It's too late to stop the Godfather of the Biden Corruption Family from entering the White House, but it's not too late to throw him out at the end of his first -- and we hope -- only term as president. We have seen, throughout this book, how Donald J. Trump, when he was president, put the interests of our country first, often in the precise areas where Biden failed to do so, Trump avoided the inflation that invites our enemies to replace our currency at the peak of the global economy. Trump worked to expand our stocks of rare earth minerals and to repeal stupid regulations that hamstrung our production. Trump withdrew from the Paris Climate Accords when he saw that it arbitrarily exempted China from compliance. Trump worked stop Huawei and other Chinese companies from implanting spyware into our computers and even imprisoned a top Huawei official until Biden freed her. Trump demanded that China stop manipulating its currency, subsidizing its exports, and using its market to lure companies to steal their technology.  Trump, realizing that all this conduct violated China's treaty obligations under the World Trade Organization, imposed tariffs to enforce the agreement. From the start of the COVID pandemic, Trump laid the blame at China's doorstep and restricted travel by Chinese to the US within a month of the disease's appearance on our shores.  Now he wants an international investigation to determine China's culpability in the pandemic.  And, if China refuses to cooperate, he proposes global sanctions to force it to do so. There is no room for corruption at the top of our government and no excuse for not electing Donald J. Trump in 2024 to clean it up.
