David Jason reprises his role as grocer Granville, who has inherited the small corner shop from his Uncle Arkwright. On hand to help out with the oddball customers and eccentric requests is Granville’s dashing son Leroy. The shop is the setting for endless mishaps and surprise visitors, including a giant mouse, a vampire impersonator and a pram full of turnips. Granville’s cost-saving measures are as cunning as ever as he attempts to sell all sorts, including sweets that turn your tongue green.
