Arabian Nights
Streaming video - 1974
In ancient Arabia, a slave (Ines Pellegrini) is allowed to choose her next master and selects a naïve young man (Franco Merli), who soon falls madly in love with her. When he makes a foolish mistake that results in her abduction, he sets out to find her, embarking on an adventure rich with exotic tales based on the Middle Eastern anthology “One Thousand and One Nights.” Written and directed by Pier Paolo Pasolini, “Arabian Nights” is an erotic and dreamlike retelling of the original folk tales.
