Pat and Cabbage
Streaming video - 2013
Pat and Cabbage, two 60-something women with a zest for life, and thoroughly determined to defy the expectations that come with being a certain age. Finding themselves single for the first time in decades – they’ve finally found financial, familial and moral freedom and they’re going to have some fun. Meanwhile, their children are less than impressed. Pat’s daughters – wannabe-psychiatrist Helen and hopeless in love Nicola – are convinced this is the start of a breakdown, while Cabbage’s work-shy son Dylan is still living at home and needs to be mothered. But the two ladies now have a brand new perspective on life and are determined to launch themselves into a brave, new world with gusto, warmth and humour.
