Review by Library Journal Review

Dating coach Quinn offers a practical, straightforward guide to the world of dating. Through five chapters and 81 situations, she guides readers from meeting someone to building a long-term relationship, and she provides tips on what to do after moving in together. Each chapter references specific scenarios and offers advice on what to do and not do for maximum success. Topics cover a variety of dating arenas and ways to meet people (the workplace; in-person; online). The difficult passages of dating are also addressed: your first fight, getting over your ex, distributing household chores, sexual issues, financial matters, and what to do if your partner's family doesn't like you and the feeling is mutual. The book can be read from start to finish or by picking and choosing chapters that apply to readers' situations. VERDICT A highly readable volume that offers advice succinctly and honestly. Best for a general-interest audience.--Jacqueline Parascandola
