PreS-K--Gabby and Panda Paws, her stuffed animal friend, are playing Kitty School with her feline friends. Gabby holds a visual schedule to navigate the school day as she and her friends enjoy music; story time, during which they act out an alternate version of "The Three Little Pigs" with Cat Rat as the Big Bad Chicken; playtime; and lunch time. The simple text consists of short sentences with one- to two-syllable words and provides an entry point for beginning readers and fans of the children's show. Digital illustrations feature the wide-eyed Gabby on each page. Purple frames with decorative elements add more visual interest to the illustrations. The story plot is basic and unexciting, though the TV characters may draw in reluctant readers. VERDICT An additional purchase, if popular content is needed for your collection or for reluctant readers.--Ramarie Beaver
