Separated from his fiancee Ann and in a rocky relationship with his symbiote, Eddie Brock's life appears to be in a downward spiral until renowned serial-killer Cletus Kasady insists he conduct an exclusive interview. Afterwards, Cletus is sharing his body with Carnage, an especially violent red symbiote that may be more powerful than Venom, who has "broken up" with Eddie and is searching for a new host while Cletus tears across the city looking to reunite with a lost love and continue his killing spree.
