This program visits this North African developing country of about 34 million people to see the contrasts between urban and rural areas and the way of life of the people. A number of ways of measuring development and wellbeing are discussed and ways of improving these are covered. Problems related to development and social issues are shown in variety of locations from large cities to small towns and villages in rural areas. Contrasts in landscapes from the better watered areas to the Sahara's dunes provides a colorful background that complements the colors of markets and the clothing worn by the Moroccan people..
