Husband and wife team Tai and Rosita Missoni are the creators of vibrant knits and simple shapes: the hallmarks of the House of Missoni. Missoni introduced the first collection in 1958 to the delight of then Vogue editor Diana Vreeland. With industry insiders praising the designs, Missoni continued to gain international acclaim. The company celebrated it’s 50th anniversary in 2003 with a retrospective collection featuring updated versions of classic pieces first introduced in 1968. Angela Missoni, the company’s creative director, continues to take the Missoni brand to new heights. Today, the label has expanded beyond clothing to include accessories, home accents, carpets, hotel chains and more.
