In this double package we examine two giant figures of the impressionist movement; Monet, founder of the French movement and landscape painter who captured the essence of light in the beauty of his famed garden, and Manet, pivotal figure in the transition from realism to impressionism, and one of the first nineteenth century artists to approach modern-life subjects, that served as rallying points for many subsequent young painters.
