Review by Booklist Review

An urge to recycle or upcycle old materials might be one motivator for picking up this book from stylist and crafter Dawe, who admits that nothing comes close to the enchanting and magical feeling you experience at Christmas. Her subtitle, though, is somewhat misleading: considering variations like luggage and bunting gift tags as well as alternative uses (e.g., turn a paper feather tag into a garland) means there are far more than 16 potential projects and outcomes here. Her concentration is on mastery: every pattern depends on good, step-by-step color photographs, which are all captioned simply. Of note are the rolled Christmas tree card, the folded book angels, and the advent houses. Sixteen pages of appended full-size templates encourage projects to be completed quickly.--Barbara Jacobs Copyright 2018 Booklist
