The True Book: Our Universe series (4 titles) is a great place for young readers to start exploring our solar system. The Moon teaches readers about the moon's relationship to Earth; its characteristics, phases, and role in eclipses; how it compares to other moons; and the ways scientists study it. These exciting titles pull readers in with a "Find the Truth" feature, which poses questions that readers will revisit at the end of each title. Large, eye-catching text and colorful, detailed photographs allow readers to fully immerse themselves in outer space while exploring these topics. Activities that encourage critical thinking, along with labeled diagrams and interesting statistics, will make this a series readers want to revisit. This exciting, informative series will be an excellent addition to children's nonfiction collections.
