Review by Library Journal Review

On a visit to his hometown, a college student (Kyle MacLachlan) finds a severed human ear, prompting him to team up with a local cop's daughter (Laura Dern) to solve the mystery of its origin. David Lynch's perversely dark thriller explores the quaint burgh's seedy underbelly--one inhabited by a psychopath (Dennis Hopper) terrorizing a lounge singer (Isabella Rossellini)--with innocence a major casualty. Restored in 4K and including a pair of making-of features, deleted and alternate scenes, and other extras, this reissued modern classic defines subversive cinema.
