A typical double-page spread offers information in a paragraph of large-print text, opposite a full-page photo. Topics include the team's origins, opponents, fans, Big Days, Tough Days, past heroes, and current favorites. In addition, one spread features a photo of their ballpark, with landmarks such as the pitcher's mound, first base, and the foul lines helpfully labeled for novices. The upbeat text provides basic information, while the color photos, often showing players in action, bring energy to the presentation.
