Review by School Library Journal Review

Lee, who has lived in South Korea and the United States, discusses identity in this collection of entries pulled from her webcomic, As Per Usual. Her self-depreciating jokes and commentary on modern life, the Internet, and Korean and American cultures are funny, relatable, and clever. The four-panel cartoons are digitally created, and characters are portrayed with big, round eyes. Lee is drawn always wearing an appealing pink sweater with an egg on it. The author/illustrator was a Web Artist Fellow at BuzzFeed for a time, and this title will appeal to fans of the popular site. VERDICT Recommended for most graphic novel collections.-Allison McLean, Elkhart Public Library, IN © Copyright 2018. Library Journals LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Media Source, Inc.
