Review by Booklist Review
When two movers from Vets on the Go, a new company that hires only veterans, manage to stop a burglary and get on the news, they attract the attention of PR expert Naomi Starr. She approaches the manager, former marine Reid Griffiths, about helping to beef up their PR. He signs on for a three-month trial, and they fall hard for each other. Naomi, however, is getting over a previous relationship with her boss and doesn't want to get mixed up with a client. Circumstances lead to Reid getting very jealous and trying to walk away, but Naomi has other ideas. Side plots involve Reid's brother, Cash, whose big mouth is always getting him in trouble, and Naomi's family, all of whom are so accomplished that she feels inadequate. This is a romance with a great deal of charm and lots of good sex, a very promising start to Harte's Movin' On series.--Mary K. Chelton Copyright 2018 Booklist

Harte (The Troublemaker Next Door) launches her Movin' On series with a spicy but flawed story about family ties and new beginnings. Ever the caretaker, former Marine Reid Griffin founded his all-veteran moving company to help his troublemaking big brother, Cash, adjust to civilian life. When Cash foils a robbery on the job, the company lands in the media spotlight. PR expert Naomi Starr knows Reid's company is the perfect client to help her fledgling PR firm, after her last job ended very badly. But neither Reid nor Naomi planned on falling so hard and so fast. They're not sure whether their connection is purely physical desire or love that could help heal the wounds in their pasts. Harte has created a rich world, populated by a couple with tangible chemistry and a supporting cast who help their relationship develop in unexpectedly charming ways. Despite moments of emotional maturity, the story as a whole isn't able to overcome the veterans' stereotypical hypermasculinity, keeping the final resolution from feeling as satisfying as it might be. Nonetheless, this is a strong series start that will have fans of mega-alphas eager for more. (Feb.) © Copyright PWxyz, LLC. All rights reserved.

Reid Griffith and Naomi Starr are married to their jobs, but a mutually beneficial relationship quickly blossoms both in the office and in the bedroom.Reid's moving company, Vets on the Go!, is a small but successful enterprise that quickly takes off after his brother, Cash, is caught on camera saving a kid and foiling a robbery. Reid has always been concerned with responsibility and doing the right thing as a son, a brother, a soldier, and now as the owner of a business that helps vets adjust to civilian life. Naomi, of Starr PR, is managing on her own after having left her former job and a relationship with her boss when her success proved a threat to both. After seeing footage of Cash's heroic rescue, Naomi sets up a meeting and offers her services to Reid, whom she is immediately attracted to. While dealing with the chemistry between them and their respective workloads, Reid and Naomi are also juggling outside complications. Reid's mother passes away, and he and Cash are left to deal with the practicalities of death as well as their grief. Naomi is forced to work alongside her ex-boyfriend/boss when they're both hired by a firm she's hungry to work with. The sex is hot enough, and Harte is to be applauded for an attempt to normalize safer sex and good communication about boundaries, but those are by far the highlights of the book. The conflicts are a little superficial and either easily or unsatisfactorily resolved. There's enough plot and strong writing to make it readable but not enough substance to make it memorable.
