Review by Library Journal Review

Cohost of MSNBC's Morning Joe, -Brzezinski uses her own experience and that of other prominent women to teach women how to communicate their value effectively in business and other areas of life. Honestly admitting to the fears that held her from speaking up, the author describes being her own worst enemy when it came to relating her worth. She tackles issues such as acceptable behavior and clothing and presents tactics for succeeding at the bargaining table. In essence, she encourages women to respect themselves first and to learn from but not necessarily act like men. VERDICT Excellent advice for women just starting their careers as well as seasoned veterans. © Copyright 2018. Library Journals LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Media Source, Inc.
