The insufferable Groo
DVD - 2019
The film follows eccentric indie filmmaker Stephen Groo as he tries and succeeds to cast super-fan Jack Black as the sheriff in his original elf/human romance film. With little money, volunteer actors, and daily obstacles that threaten the production, Groo spends a year filming his masterpiece but finds himself still seeking distribution and his chance to make it big.
