In this adorable contemporary romance from Hale (Love Me for Me), single mother and nurse Abbey Fuller receives an unexpected chance at changing her life and finding love. Her client Caroline's wealthy grandson, Nicholas Sinclair, offers her a job decorating his house in time for the holidays in order to please his grandmother. What starts out as simply a gig for Abbey turns into a friendship with the workaholic Nicholas, and soon he's ordering replacement pumpkin pies for her family and spending time playing with her son Max. Their developing romance is complicated by Nicholas's focus on making his company something his late father would be proud of. This charming novel feels realistic thanks to the well-paced romance between Abbey and Richard, his relationship with Max, and several sweet scenes of the main characters realizing the strength of their relationship.
