PreS-Gr 1-Step outside and what do you see? This series covers some of the most recognizable elements of the natural world. Throughout the series, full-page stunning photographs are overlaid with colorful text boxes, while simple repetitive sentences maintain the focus on a few key words. Each title includes a "Tools for Teachers" guide covering the literacy skills addressed in each book, science curriculum connections, and activities to do before and after introducing the topic. A visual dictionary called "Words to Know" concludes each volume, providing students with an opportunity to reinforce new vocabulary.
