Personal trainer and TV personality -Michaels believes it's possible to grow older with grace, beauty, wisdom, and integrity by maintaining ourselves both physically and psychologically. In this book, written with coauthor Murphy (Men's Health Gym Bible), she uses abundant scientific research to present six behaviors, or keys for aging well, such as mastering macromolecules, engineering epigenetics, and owning inflammation. A healthy diet and frequent exercise comprises much of Michaels's program, as does adequate sleep and guarded sun exposure. While the instructions are not new, they're peppered with data and encouragement and complement additional tips for living an environmentally clean life.
