Review by Horn Book Review

A child takes a pet dragon to a restaurant and chaos ensues. This ill-conceived attempt to impart proper table manners is told in rhyming text that fails to scan (or entertain). There's been a spate of picture books warning against taking inappropriate pets or objects to public places; Elise Parsley's titles are more successful. A multi-ethnic cast in Elkerton's otherwise undistinguished digital illustrations adds limited appeal. (c) Copyright 2019. The Horn Book, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Media Source, Inc.
