Lillien has her success down pat: create a compelling brand, target the diet- and weight-obsessed, and riff on favorite dishes in a low-cal manner. Which is exactly her MO in this twelfth addition to her cookbook roster, touting some 180 recipes that represent the world's most craveable foods to enjoy without popping a pants button. Her secrets are revealed in the last chapter; she relies on spaghetti squash, cauliflower rice, and spiralized zucchini to substitute for carbohydrates. And then promotes all the usual ingredients, such as sugar substitutes, nonfat milk, and the like. Every dish features nutritional content (all are under 375 calories), prep and cook times, and equipment needed. Photographs abound, as do tips and facts to know. Delectable recipes include cinnamon-roll French toast, pizzafied meatloaf, guacamole dip, and Jazzy-Razzy streusel bars. A nice touch is that many recipes are calculated for one serving. An easier way not to diet.--Jacobs, Barbara Copyright 2017 Booklist
