Review by Library Journal Review

Didn't get your fill of this delightful BAFTA Award-winning show when the first three seasons came out on DVD? Well, you're in luck, because the fourth season of this scrummy (that's Britspeak for scrumptious and yummy) little treat is just out. This latest edition follows the same format, with 12 home bakers from the UK competing for a much-coveted cake stand as well as the culinary approval of judges Mary Berry and Paul Hollywood. Sue Perkins and Mel Giedroyc once again host, serving up their usual engaging brand of commentary as well as the occasional endearingly dorky joke. Verdict The charms of this imported baking series remain as delectably fresh as ever. A must-see for home bakers who are on a first-name basis with their Kitchenaid and anyone who needs a viewing sweet that will restore their faith in humanity.-John Charles, formerly with -Scottsdale P.L., AZ © Copyright 2017.
