As geek culture continues to invade mainstream culture, cosplay-once the realm of Comic Con attendees and anime fanatics-has as well. Veteran manga artist and cosplay participant Good combines her knowledge of sewing and cosplay in this collection of tips, tricks, and designs. There are five basic themes: a Sailor Moon-style suit with bow, medieval/fairy-tale costumes for men and women, a steampunk ensemble, an sf warrior costume, and a superhero costume. Each includes a series of variations, allowing for customization based on the character or style portrayed. The majority of Good's designs are suitable for adventurous beginners, and she includes plenty of helpful advice.
