Review by Booklist Review

Chase's fourth well-written and uniquely appealing Shaughnessy Brothers book features rock star Riley, struggling to finish his first solo album after things went awry with his participation in the production of a documentary. After pressure from his agent, he agrees to allow a reporter access for an in-depth article. After covering several lesser musicians, Savannah Daly sees this interview as her final ticket to bigger assignments. She expects Riley to be arrogant and spoiled, but instead they are immediately attracted to each other. To slow things down, Riley offers her a chance to spend two weeks with his many siblings and father in North Carolina. Riley (along with the other Shaughnessys in Chase's engaging musical-family series) must come to terms with his grief at losing his mother to reconnect with what he truly wants from life. Savannah and Riley are flawed yet strong characters with supportive, funny families who will not let them make too many mistakes. Review by Publisher's Weekly Review

In Chase's fourth Shaughnessy Brothers contemporary (after Always My Girl), a rock star gets his mojo back with the help of a sexy journalist. Riley Shaughnessy is having trouble finishing an album-his first solo project-and his record label has lost all patience. In return for extra time, he agrees to be interviewed for Rock the World magazine. Reporter Savannah Daly is not happy when her boss demands she take the assignment. She initially thinks Riley will be shallow and self-absorbed like all the other celebrities she's encountered, but while spending a month in North Carolina with the lively and endearing Shaughnessys, she discovers his rock star image is all smoke and mirrors. He appreciates that she treats him like a "normal man," and soon Savannah becomes Riley's muse. Their connection strengthens, and he sees a future with her as long as they can get past the secret she doesn't even realize she's keeping. With seasoned characters, plenty of humor, and tastefully implied sex scenes (which will appeal to those who prefer less heat), Chase has crafted another successful love match that readers will embrace.
