Review by School Library Journal Review

K-Gr 2-Part of an easy reader series based on Gutman's popular "My Weird School" books. Ella Mentry School students A.J. and Andrea are taking a class trip to the museum. Their guide has been warned that one of them might misbehave. But who will it be? Colorful digital illustrations amplify the fun of this hilarious field trip. With one or two sentences on each page and a story line that moves very quickly, this title will engage beginning readers and help them feel a sense of accomplishment when they finish it. VERDICT Readers who want comedic tales that will make them laugh will enjoy this version of the series.-Paula Huddy, The Blake School-Highcroft Campus, Wayzata, MN © Copyright 2016. Class clown A.J. and teacher's pet Andrea make their easy-reader debuts, complete with their usual wordplay, goofiness, and love-hate relationship. Andrea accidentally gets on the wrong side of a museum educator (Museum); A.J. worries that he lacks a school-appropriate talent (Talent Show). Illustrated with Paillot's caricatures (in full color), the slight stories will lure developing readers not quite ready for the chapter books.
