Review by Horn Book Review

In this second installment, demon-summoner Fletcher, falsely accused of a crime, is freed when his noble lineage is revealed. When he and his friends are sent to the warfront, they find themselves in as much danger from racists on their own side as from the orcs. The game-like fantasy world feels artificial and uncontrolled as the action hurtles headlong into a gasp-worthy cliffhanger. (c) Copyright 2017.
