Kinjiro Sakamachi is a high school boy who suffers from gynophobia, a fear of women. He accidentally discovers that a popular upperclassman and butler to the Suzutsuki family, Subaru Konoe, is in fact a girl. Now that Kinjiro knows about Subaru's secret, they must work together to prevent the secret from being discovered. Complicating matters is Kanade Suzutsuki, the high school principal's daughter whose family employs male Subaru and who loves tormenting Kinjiro.
