Review by School Library Journal Review

PreS-Gr 2-This is a snorting good time for the preschool set. Peppa Pig; her younger brother, George; and Mummy and Daddy Pig have adventures that include a trip in a spiffy car with many gadgets and taking a bicycle outing as a family. In one episode, vocabulary words such as "easel" and "canvas" are taught. Peppa does have a bit of attitude, but Mummy and Daddy Pig are patient. The fine narration is performed with charming British accents. Kids may learn some Britishisms-pram and ice lolly, for instance. The animation is rather simple, but cute. This DVD shows women in a variety of roles, such as station captain and veterinarian. These five-minute episodes feature gentle lessons taught with lots of family time and giggling.-C. A.
