In this engaging addition to the bilingual ArteKids series of books, children are introduced to animals that appear in a variety of artwork from the San Antonio Museum of Art. The animals' names appear in both English and Spanish, as do reader-directed questions and prompts: "Why are the monkeys hiding in the rocks?" asks the text about an image on a six-panel screen from Edo period Japan (the answer may involve the fierce-looking eagle perched on a branch a few panels over).
