Tess has a crush on her older brother's best friend, Jason. They shared a single, mind-blowing kiss that has left her reeling but unsure of what to do. She doesn't trust guys, thanks to her abusive ex-boyfriend. But when she decides to attend college on the same campus as Jase, she realizes it might be her chance to actually convince him that they'd make a great couple. But Jase is gun-shy and worried that his own troubled past may come to hurt Tess. When the two finally get together (in some very hot and steamy ways), a tragedy on campus forces them to reevaluate the strength of their new relationship. This follow-up to Lynn's blockbuster first novel, Wait for You (2013), features several of the same characters but is a stand-alone read.
