Review by Booklist Review

Join human boy Buzz and the insectile Fly Guy as they take a field trip to the space museum and learn about the universe. From meteors to space suits, Arnold supplies a simple and concise overview of outer space as well as some of the important people (and flies!) who have gone there. Astonishing NASA photos mix with Arnold's playful cartoon illustrations Buzz and Fly Guy's enthusiasm is contagious making this an eye-catching lesson on space that aspiring astronauts or astronomers will not want to miss. A nice balance between illustration and written content is maintained throughout, with text limited to labels and two to three sentences per page. New concepts and vocabulary are accompanied by phonetic spellings to help young readers with their pronunciation. The Fly Guy Presents series will appeal to fans of National Geographic Readers, and many fans of the original Fly Guy books will happily follow Arnold's beloved characters into the realm of nonfiction and, indeed, straight out of this world.--Smith, Julia Copyright 2010 Booklist
