Review by Booklist Review

This follow-up to Are You Normal? (2011) once again asks that most central question of adolescence. Ten quizzes on a host of topics, including family and friends, school, food, and recreation, are included. Readers mark their answers (librarians, be warned!) to questions about the cleanliness of their bedroom, the contents of their lunchbox, and their relationship with their siblings. Then they can check their answers against a scoring system known as the weird-o-meter to discover how they personally stack up against their peers. Then, each quiz question receives its own explanatory page that draws in interesting sociological findings in a highly readable, almost infographic style combined with colorful photo collages. While it is difficult to assess the soundness of the data, this is nonetheless a compelling introduction to the field of sociology and a ton of fun to browse through, besides.--Anderson, Erin Copyright 2010 Booklist
