The Doctor, Amy, and Rory find themselves in sixties America, battling the invasion the world forgot, then journey on the high seas of 1696 aboard a pirate ship, to solve the mystery of the Siren. Then in a bubble universe and the extreme edge of reality, they encounter a woman claiming to be the Doctor's wife, robotic clones that have become sentient, and the Doctor calling in favors from all over the universe to help out a particular friend.
