Review by Library Journal Review
In this latest title in Barron's "Creative Techniques" painting series, Guasch and Asuncion (coauthors, Form) first outline basic acrylic painting materials, tools, and techniques then present 14 short lessons that will help expand artists' range and stimulate their inventiveness with the medium. Throughout, the book is lushly illustrated with vividly colorful landscape, figurative, and abstract paintings, all painted with acrylics. Many intermediate and experienced artists choose this medium for its versatility, ease of use, and economy relative to oils. This book will well suit that broad group of creative people.
