Review by Publisher's Weekly Review

It's not a global terror ring, but the desire for a personal life that threatens the Sisters in Michaels's subdued 20th-and last-Sisterhood installment (after 2010's Deja Vu). Sisters leader Myra Rutledge Martin, her husband, Sir Charles, and Annie de Silva all remain dedicated to fighting crime, but the other ladies aren't so sure and the group is showing signs of breaking up. When U.S. president Martine Connor asks them to join a new super-secret agency she's created, with the promise of clean slates for all, however, everyone agrees. Their mission: to find out who's stealing millions in secret U.S. funds. Though the ever feisty Myra is determined to assist Lady Justice, vigilantes Maggie Spritzer, who falls head over (high) heels for Master Sgt. Gus Sullivan over Thanksgiving dinner at Camp David; Nikki Quinn Emery; and Isabelle Flanders all want to focus on their personal lives. Michaels brings her popular series to a lackluster close with a tired financial corruption plot and tidy domestic ribbons tied too tightly around every girl in the group. (Apr.)
