Review by Horn Book Review

In Artist, Nancy turns her clubhouse into an art studio. Stargazer finds Nancy, little sis, and Dad planning to camp in the backyard. Nancy's giddy narration is spiked with facts; however, the more her books strive to educate readers, the less she sounds like a real kid. Glasser's frilly-frothy art is appropriate accompaniment for both texts. [Review covers these titles: Fancy Nancy: Aspiring Artist and Fancy Nancy: Stallar Stargazer!] (c) Copyright 2011.
