Review by School Library Journal Review
PreS-Gr 2-These four books are intended to give children basic scientific information about the featured topic. The double-page illustrations depicting the flora and fauna of the books' settings are rich and warm, but the computer-generated people look stiff and are a bit jarring against the more realistic backgrounds. Two children's exploration of and conversation about each topic inevitably lead to the end, where readers can find a related craft/activity. For the many early childhood classrooms in which all aspects of autumn are a part of the curriculum, these titles will be welcome, child-friendly additions.-Maggie Chase, Boise State University, ID (c) Copyright 2010.
