Review by Library Journal Review

After From a Monastery Kitchen and Twelve Months of Monastery Soups, d'Avila-Latourrette, resident monk at Our Lady of the Resurrection Monastery in New York, shares easy-to-follow instructions and short ingredient lists (most fewer than ten) for, e.g., Laudate Oatmeal Bread. Acorn Squash-Mushroom Lasagna, with one of the longer ingredient lists (14 items), includes mushrooms, acorn squash, three cheeses, eggs, and lasagna. While this book is pricey for its size, it is a great collection for simple vegetarian cooking. (c) Copyright 2010. Library Journals LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Media Source, Inc.
