Review by Library Journal Review

Rather than dollhouses, these projects are permanent display shadow boxes. There are seven themed projects with cigar-box collage rooms, each done by a different artist. Mixed-media artists Oliveau and Molina explain techniques used to make various items in the boxes, such as lamps or articulated paper dolls. More of a curiosity than a practical guide, this strange book will not be to everyone's taste, but it may be appreciated by those looking for altered art inspiration. (c) Copyright 2010.
